In Walks, Lilit Matevosyan draws on archival materials to create mosaic-like images of towns along the Black Sea coast. Rejecting a linear narrative, the series unfolds through fragments of memory, reflecting on loss, transformation, and the changing landscapes of place.
Lilit Matevosyan is an artist, photographer, and video artist. In 2020, she co-founded Aerarium, a self-organized artist initiative. Her practice explores memory, borders, and identity through the histories and landscapes of the South Caucasus and the Black Sea coast.
