These Terms of Service (“Terms”) govern your use of sovalovala.com (the “Site”) and purchases from SovaLova LA Concept Store (“SovaLova”, “we”, “us” or “our”).
By placing an order, you agree to these Terms and our Final Sale & Returns Policy and Shipping & Delivery Policy. Our handling of personal information is described in our Privacy Policy.
1. Products
We make reasonable efforts to describe and photograph products accurately.
Many items are handmade, artist-made, produced in limited editions or made from natural materials. Minor variations in colour, texture, grain, finish, form or dimensions may be inherent characteristics of an item and are not necessarily defects.
Colours may vary depending on your screen or device.
Product availability is subject to change.
2. Orders
We may cancel an order before fulfilment where reasonably necessary, including where:
- an item is unavailable;
- there is an obvious pricing or product-information error;
- payment cannot be authorised;
- we reasonably suspect fraud or misuse; or
- delivery cannot reasonably be arranged.
If we cancel an order after payment has been taken, we will refund the amount paid for the cancelled order.
3. Prices and Payment
Prices are shown in the currency indicated on the Site.
Applicable taxes and shipping or delivery charges will be shown or otherwise clearly disclosed during the purchasing process where applicable.
Payments are processed through Shopify and its supported payment providers.
4. Final Sale, Returns and Cancellations
Except where applicable law provides otherwise, purchases from SovaLova are final sale.
We do not accept returns, exchanges or refunds for change of mind or personal preference.
This does not affect rights or remedies relating to goods that are damaged, defective, materially different from their description due to our error, or different from the item ordered.

For orders requiring a specialist shipping quote after purchase, you may cancel the affected merchandise order for a full refund if you do not accept the shipping quote, provided the item has not been dispatched.
Nothing in these Terms limits rights or remedies that cannot lawfully be excluded or limited.
5. Shipping and Delivery
Shipping and delivery are governed by our Shipping & Delivery Policy.
Complimentary local delivery is available to eligible Los Angeles addresses as indicated at checkout.
Certain fine art, furniture and specialist items may require a separate shipping or freight quote.
Delivery timeframes are estimates unless expressly stated otherwise.
If we are unable to ship an order within a timeframe stated at the time of purchase, we will provide any notice, cancellation or refund rights required by applicable law.
6. Orders Outside the United States
Availability outside the United States depends on the product, destination, carrier and applicable customs or import restrictions.
Where import duties, taxes or customs charges are not collected at checkout, they may be payable by the recipient.
Customers are responsible for providing accurate delivery and contact information.
Nothing in these Terms limits mandatory consumer rights under applicable law.
7. Intellectual Property
Unless otherwise stated, Site content created by or for SovaLova is owned by or licensed to SovaLova and may not be reproduced or commercially used without permission.
Artwork, photography, designs and publications displayed on the Site may also be protected by intellectual-property rights belonging to their respective rights holders.
Purchasing an artwork, photograph, design object or publication does not transfer copyright, reproduction rights or other intellectual-property rights unless expressly agreed in writing.
8. Use of the Site
You may not use the Site for unlawful or fraudulent purposes, interfere with its operation or security, introduce malicious software, or infringe the rights of SovaLova or any third party.
We may restrict access where reasonably necessary to protect the Site, our customers or our business.
9. Liability
Nothing in these Terms excludes or limits liability, warranties, consumer rights or remedies that cannot lawfully be excluded or limited.
To the extent permitted by applicable law, SovaLova is not responsible for losses caused by circumstances outside our reasonable control.
This does not affect our obligation to provide refunds or other remedies where required by applicable law.
10. Privacy
Our collection, use and disclosure of personal information is described in our Privacy Policy.
11. Governing Law
These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of California, without regard to conflict-of-law principles.
This does not remove any mandatory consumer protections that apply under applicable law.
12. Changes to These Terms
We may update these Terms from time to time.
The version in effect when an order is placed will apply to that purchase, except where a change is required by law.
